Ngong hero heads for SA

The "Black Belt" of Kenyian racing Martial Art left for Durban, South Africa, this morning.
The wonder horse prepares to enter a different chapter of his racing career on the far more lucrative tracks of South Africa.
The first base will be quarantine with the Bloodstock Agency, where Martial Art will remain in professional luxury for six weeks.
His escort is Ngong racecourse veterninarian, Dr Vejay Varma, who will accompany him until he feels secure that Kenya's 'child' is in safe hands.
By March, Martial Art will be transferred to the training establishment of Glen Kotzen.
His rating has been asserted at 58, which is equivalent to our old 'D' Division.
