The honest John Meagher-trained galloper Lim's Zerperb (NZ) (Zerpour x Hugging by Bevelled) led home a kiwi trifecta in the S$125,000 Open (1400m) in Singapore on Saturday.
Situated behind a wall of horses turning for home, Lim's Zerperb (NZ) launched a determined challenge out wide and was duly rewarded at the line when crossing two lengths in front of Breckenridge (NZ) (Anziyan x Snow Mass by Kaapstad), who held out Big Easy (NZ) (Spinning World x Nicole's Niner by Forty Niner) by just under a length.Lim's Zerperb (NZ) demonstrated ability from the onset with a debut win and cemented this class two starts later when taking out the 2005 STC Gr.3 Steward's Cup (1400m).
Bred by Bloomsbury Stud, Lim's Zerperb (NZ) has attained seven career wins in Singapore, and has added to his record with 13 placings from his 27 remaining starts.
